CNG Filters

Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) is a high-pressure gas that is an alternative transportation fuel. CNG is environment friendly in terms of reduction in emission during combustion. Compressed Natural Gas or CNG gets contaminated during its journey through the pipeline to the dispenser. There are various contaminants that should be filtered: solid particles, moisture, and lubricating oil carried over from CNG Compressors. Removal of these contaminants is essential to protect the NGV vehicle Engines. 

DELTA CNG Filters are designed to operate at the high-pressure applications of CNG Fueling at 275 Bar (4000 PSIG). THE Latest ASME codes are followed in the design of DELTA CNG Filter housings. Borosilicate Glass Fibre-based filter elements are used for filtration which offers the lowest pressure drop and long life. These filters remove dirt, condensates, oil, and moisture and ensure a high degree of purity in the CNG at the Filter outlet. 

APPLICATIONS : 

* Booster Compressors and Online Compressors: DELTA CNG Filters are employed by several OEM Compressor Manufacturers. At the suction port filtration is essential to protect the Compressor internals from damage due to contamination in CNG. The high efficiency borosilicate micro fiber based filter element ensures large void volume for capturing solid contaminants. Liquid contaminants are also removed by coalescing feature. At the Discharge port, DELTA CNG Filters ensure that the  gas is of high purity to travel to the Dispenser bank for eventual sale to consumers. We are regularly supplying these filters for applications in India, UAE, South America and Indonesia.

* Dispensers: CNG Dispensers are a critical application since high purity CNG is necessary to fuel cars, trucks and buses. DELTA Coalescing Filters ensure that both solid and liquid contaminants are removed from the gas stream. This results in high degree of purity (0.01 micron particulate size removal) for fueling purpose. We have tied up with several CNG Dispenser OEM's for supply of Coalescing Gas filters in India, North America and South East Asia.

* LCV Filling Post: DELTA CNG Filters are fitted inside LCV Filling post. Filtration is essential to ensure that the gas being fueled is free of contamination. We have been selected in LCV filling post OEM in India and Turkey.

* CNG De-Compression Skid: Our CNG Filters have been employed in multiple applications by a worldwide leader in the field of De-compressor. Filters are supplied with Differential Pressure Gauge and Drain Valves as Optional accessories.

Particulate Removal: Down to 0.01 microns, 99.% Efficiency, i.e. Highest degree of cleanliness

Oil & Condensate Removal: Down to 0.01 ppm, residual oil content i.e. oil-free CNG for fueling vehicles
