Late Mr. M.P.Kini

Founder

Delta Filters was founded in 1994 by Mr. M.P.Kini after serving in several key positions at India’s premier Research & Development establishment: Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC). He rose through the ranks at BARC and was appointed Maintenance Superintendent (Mechanical) for all three nuclear reactors on site. He received international recognition for his work on Main Coolant Pumps made by KSB-Germany. He has also served in Nuclear Power Corporation on India Ltd. (NPCIL) during commissioning of several 500 MW(e) PHWR reactors. Mr. Kini possessed industry leading expertise in filter design and ASME Sec VIII Div 1 pressure vessel design which led him to establish Delta Filters. He was an active member of Indian Nuclear Society and Indian Institute of Plant Engineers
