DELTA TEE STRAINERS is a device through which a fluid is passed through and purified by removing solid matter. It is used to prevent solid contaminants from mixing in a liquid stream or flowline.
Delta Filter’s design, manufacture, and supply Tee Strainers in both horizontal and vertical configurations. Tee strainers are designed to remove foreign particles from the pipeline. Tee Type Strainers are a low-cost solution to large nominal bore straining requirements. Delta Tee strainers protect pipeline equipment from foreign matter present in liquids. Tee strainers are most commonly supplied with a range of graded filtration levels to ensure that the clean liquid flows downstream. Tee strainers do not require large areas for installation and hence they are quite convenient for the protection of downstream equipment like pumps, valves, and similar equipment. Delta Tee Strainer offers several advantages over other strainer orientations. Delta Tee Strainer is very compact and suitable for applications where space is restricted. Compared to other strainers, Delta Tee Strainers can be used in either vertical or horizontal installations.

DELTA T Type Strainers are custom fabricated strainers. Our Tee Strainer offers several advantages over other strainer designs. Delta strainer is very compact, important in applications where space is restricted. Delta Tee Strainers can be used in both vertical or horizontal orientations. The Strainer design ensures an unrestricted flow path for the fluid with the end result of low-pressure drop compared to other strainer types. Tee Strainers are designed to remove foreign particles from pipelines. TEE Strainers provide excellent protection for downstream equipment like boilers, pumps, valves, and other related equipment. Typically DELTA T Strainer is constructed of carbon or stainless steel material. Optional materials, end connections, and accessories are available.
1. Line size: 2” – 48”
2. End Connections: Flanged 150 LB through 600 LB or BUTT WELD
3. Body MOC: Carbon Steel (A234) , Stainless Steel 304/316/316L
4. Basket MOC: SS304/316/316L
5. Mesh Rating: 7 Mesh to 1250 Mesh
Tee Strainer Ratings are typically rated in U.S. Mesh instead of a micron. Mesh ratings stand for the number of openings per linear inch using standard wire diameters. Wire mesh measures the number of wires (or threads) per linear inch, not the size of the holes between them. The micron rating goes down as the number of wires per inch goes up.
We have tabulated the rough relationship between U.S. Mesh and microns. For an accurate relationship, the wire diameter should also be accounted for in the calculations.
